I work with the wisdom your body is already holding. We honor what you’ve been carrying to make space for what’s ready to emerge, and then anchor these changes in with grounded, simple, and evidence based practices.

I’m Dr. Parkar, an Integrative Doctor of Physical Therapy. I work with people who sense their pain has roots that go deeper than what they’ve been told. Your body tells the story, I help you listen, process through the body, and rewrite the narrative.
I understand that pain is complicated, and believe your body has valid reasons for what it’s doing to protect you. You’re not broken.
There’s a sense your body is trying to tell you something. The accident, the surgery, the years of stress, the grief you pushed through when your life couldn’t stop. Your body remembers all of it.
"her presence is healing but how she goes through the session makes me feel so loved and understood- it is so healing"
— Denise, PT and Breathwork Client
Most pain isn’t about weak muscles or bad posture. It’s about threat response. It’s about protection. Your body has been working overtime to keep you safe, to compensate to ensure your vital organs are prioritized, and to wrap around places that once needed guarding.
My work helps your body re-experience safety. I blend advanced clinical skills with intuitive awareness. This includes advanced myofascial release, visceral manipulation (organ work, because it's often the missing piece), and autonomic nervous system support techniques.
We will co-create the conditions of safety for your body to remember its capacity to heal, and to finally exhale. This doesn’t mean we will leave behind your muscles, joints, and postural training! It just means that these interventions have a hard time integrating until the root causes have been tended to. Exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and joint mobility are a vital part of making lasting changes.
Gentle, intuitive bodywork that helps your system slow down and rest. We soften guarded areas and invite your body to move from survive to thrive.
A guided set of 5 sessions, each building on the last, to release, nourish the nervous system, and provide guidance to build your body’s new normal
Hands-on work that helps your organs and fascia move with ease again. It reconnects what’s been isolated and restores quiet internal balance.
Most of my clients start with The Body's Story. This process opens the work and builds lasting changes.
“On the pt side of things, you gave me some life changing tools and understanding that I’ve been in search of for years. It really feels like magic has been happening within lately as I’ve been incorporating meditative breathing into my daily life ✨
I’ve done the PT a couple times since we met and I’m feeling more and more aligned by the day!
— Lia, PT Client
I started my career as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, but quickly realized the standard PT model wasn't effectively serving people with chronic pain.
So I kept learning—nervous system work, visceral manipulation, somatic therapy, the psychology of pain. I was searching for the missing pieces.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped solely intellectualizing. Life turned my eyes inward and I started investing in my own healing journey
That's when the puzzle pieces started coming together. My own messy, real healing process taught me more than any credential could.
Now I bring all of it—the clinical training, the continued learning, the lived experience—into this work.
"Not your average PT. Parkar is incredibly attuned to what is happening in the body, mind, and spirit. I’ve had consistent neck pain for years with nothing working to help and in just a few sessions it’s noticeably improved!"
— Jeff, Bend
The body knows the way through. Sometimes it just needs the right space and support to find it.
The first step is a discovery call. We'll talk about what's been going on in your body, what you've already tried, and whether this work feels like the right fit.
I only work with people I truly believe I can support, so this conversation is as much for you as it is for me.
If we're aligned, we'll book your first session and begin this journey together.
