Dr. Parkar Price is a highly intuitive, integrative Physical Therapist. She began her career training as a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. While still in school, she developed a strong curiosity about how to effectively provide care for people suffering from chronic pain, particularly as she witnessed how the standard model of care so often failed these populations.
Following this curiosity took her into a long and continuing arc of learning from the realms of psychology, the physiology of the autonomic nervous system, visceral manipulation, sociology, psychedelic therapies, and spirituality.
Dr. Parkar likes the old joke: "all research is really just me-search."
Her educational arc and lived experience have created deep compassion for the human experience and the ability to hold safe space for people. She recognizes the complexity and sacredness of how the body seeks to protect each of us and considers it a deep honor to witness, support, and celebrate clients in their own journeys.
Dr. Parkar fundamentally believes that the body is far more advanced and wise than we tend to give it credit for. Her guiding question is "what is the body protecting?" and her practice blends clinical expertise with intuitive awareness to help people access their body's inherent capacity to heal.
